The Story Behind the Story

While operating our children's entertainment company, Happily Ever Laughter, we wanted to provide the birthday child at each of our events with a unique gift that couldn't be found anywhere else. We combined our love of writing, and our business name and created a whimsical story all about the meaning behind laughter. Having seen instances of bullying first hand while on the job, we felt the message of this story was a very important one that could be shared with kids everywhere. 

This process was such a learning experience for us - being the first story we'd written. We found the illustrator of our dreams and connected with a publisher in London who helped to print and distribute. Thus, Harlow and the Lost Laughter was born!
